The Alliance Rallies Pest Control Industry During Termite Awareness Week
Termites are among the most destructive pests threatening American homes and businesses, causing an estimated $6.8 billion in property damage each year. With warmer temperatures on the horizon and the threat of termite activity intensifying, the Professional Pest Management Alliance is calling on pest control companies nationwide to take part in Termite Awareness Week from March 1–7, 2026. Help spread the word by sharing termite-focused content on company channels using #TermiteAwarenessWeek and resharing content from @PestWorld on Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube and @PestWorldOfficial on Instagram.
WVPMA exists to educate and support pest management companies in West Virginia. We know insurance is a challenge and this year we hope to help. If you are interested in joining us on this initiative, please email WVPMA Board President Jay Swann.
