Upcoming Colorado Legislative Day
On Wednesday, February 5th, CPCA will be participating in a Coalition Lobby Day at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver, alongside other members of the broader pesticide user coalition.
We strongly encourage any members who are available and interested to attend! This is a great opportunity to take your first step into advocacy, and CPCA Board Members will be there to support you.
It's crucial that our legislators hear directly from YOU, not just from those who oppose our industry.
Together with other pesticide applicators, we will meet with legislators to discuss the safety, sustainability, and importance of our work—ensuring the pest control industry’s voice is heard loud and clear!
Here’s the schedule for the day:
- 7:00 AM: Arrive at the Capitol, Group Discussion
- 7:30 AM: Breakfast Reception with Legislators
- 9:00 AM: Direct Lobbying during Floor Work (Advance Directions Provided)
- 11:00 AM: Scheduled 1-on-1 Meetings with Legislators
- 12:30 PM: Lunch and Recap
